It All Started with My Sister’s Wedding…
Ringback Memories was born out of a love for nostalgia and a desire to make audio guestbooks more accessible. Founded by Chris and Tyler—two good friends who met while studying at the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre & Dance—our journey started with a simple request. When Chris’s sister wanted an audio guestbook for her wedding but couldn't justify the sky-high prices or lack of authenticity of existing options, we stepped in.

We specialize in hand-restoring 100% original vintage phones from the 1970s and 1980s, bringing a touch of authentic history to your special day. We didn’t just repurpose old phones—we designed this audio guestbook model from the ground up, ensuring it delivers podcast-quality audio for crystal-clear recordings of your guests’ heartfelt messages.
Preserving Your Most Special Memories
The recordings from your most beloved guests–from parents, to grandparents, to drunk friends–will be preserved in both physical and digital formats, including: a digital download, a heart-shaped USB, and a custom vinyl record created by our in-house audio team.
